Gift Registry Info

Thanks for helping us celebrate our wedding! Your love and support are the best gifts we could have. But, in the wonderful tradition of 12-piece table settings for people who do not actually yet own a dining room table, we've had a lot of fun registering for the fantasy newlywed life. We've gotten some questions from y'all about where we're registered and what our living situation is going to be like, so here's some information that you might find helpful. As many of you already know, Steele has taken a tenure-track job at a college in Virginia while I remain in Pennsylvania finishing my doctorate. It makes for a pretty bleak honeymoon, but we think it will be worth it in the long run. That said, we are going to try to do our best to set up two equally cozy homes: one in VA and one in PA, so that whoever is visiting the other doesn't feel like a guest in his or her own home. If it seems strange that we have registered for two of certain items, it is with the dual-residence in mind. We especially need dinnerware, cookware, flatware and furniture.
